Our mission

Cover the Cahors AOC with the rigour of a specialised magazine and the freedom of an independent outlet. No retail chain and no e-commerce brand has editorial influence on the site. Our goal: make vin-de-cahors.fr the leading reference on the appellation, in French and on every export market.

The editorial team

vin-de-cahors.fr is written by an independent team. Articles are collective and published under the shared byline « The Editorial Team ». This is a deliberate choice: what matters is that sources can be traced, not the name of whoever writes.

Editorial methodology

Wines and cuvées: we do not taste and we do not rate. What is presented gathers assessments and awards published elsewhere — guides, specialist press, estate websites — and sets them side by side. The judgement remains theirs, never ours.
Estate information: it comes from what is publicly available, starting with the estates' own websites. Until a winemaker sends us their own details, we display public information only, with the limits that implies.
Figures and statistics: official sources (INSEE, French customs, trade bodies), with the date of the data shown.
Updates: every article shows its latest update date. Any information reported as inaccurate is checked and, where appropriate, corrected or removed.

Independence

The site is published by Kenobiz Solutions L.L.C-FZ (Meydan Free Zone, licence n° 2535609.01, Dubai, UAE). vin-de-cahors.fr carries out no commercial activity: it sells nothing, takes no orders, runs no affiliate scheme and hosts no advertising. No player in the trade — estate, merchant, distributor — funds the site or has any influence over its content. Its only purpose is to make Cahors wine better known.
